Jane is a dental hygienist with over 30 years’ experience and a specialist interest in oral health promotion for vulnerable adults. She qualified from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1995 and has built her career around preventive care, periodontal health, and improving access to effective mouth care for older people and those with complex needs.

In 2015, Jane founded Knowledge Oral Health Care Ltd, a specialist oral health promotion company dedicated to supporting the care sector. The organisation delivers evidence-based, practical oral care training designed to equip care staff with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to provide safe and effective daily mouth care.

​

Jane is particularly passionate about improving oral health standards in care homes, where oral care is often overlooked despite its clear links to dignity, safeguarding, nutrition, and overall wellbeing. Her work combines clinical expertise with education, advocacy, and collaboration, ensuring oral health is recognised as an essential part of holistic care.

Through Knowledge Oral Health Care Ltd, Jane continues to champion better oral health outcomes for those who are elderly, frail, or less able, while supporting care providers to meet best-practice standards with confidence.

Emma qualified as a dental hygienist and therapist from University of Sheffield in 2013. A lot of Emma’s focus is on Prevention and Education since completing outreach placements.  She has visited many schools and now provides professional training to care staff on oral health care.  

Emma works in NHS & Private practice and is involved in the media aspect of the company, she has a strong following on most media platforms posting oral health awareness tips and advice to the care sector.

In her spare time she enjoys Ballroom and Latin dancing, walking, swimming and cycling.

Debbie qualified from RADC Aldershot Army in 1984 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene, Throughout her career as a dental hygienist Debbie has worked in NHS & private practices.

​

Since 2016 Debbie has been providing an Oral Care Service in care homes, supporting care staff with oral care practices.  Debbie has a particular interest in Gerodontology and oral care for people with Learning Disabilities.  Debbie is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at her job.

​

Debbie enjoys spending her spare time going for walks with her puppy, Digby!

Jackie graduated from Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1998 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy.  She has worked in many areas of dentistry, her interest is in dry mouth and people with special needs.

​

She divides her profession time between working in clinic as a dental hygienist,  providing seminar sessions to healthcare professionals in promoting dry mouth and delivering oral health education to carers in care homes.
