ORAL CARE TRAINING FOR INDPENDENT HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS
Monthly Oral Healthcare sessions are aimed at healthcare professionals that are involved in the oral cavity. It is suitable for dental & health professionals involved in residential & complex care.
In the session, you will learn the basics of good oral health, including tooth decay, gum disease, oral care for people with complex needs and the appropriate tools required. You will learn about soft tissue findings and given tips and coping strategies of how to help deal with clients that are resistant to this part of personal care.
This session does not cover the CQC quality standard required for care homes.
Participants are encouraged to interact with discussion and polls. 2hrs CPD Certificate awarded & downloadable resources. To secure a place please complete the booking form.
