Thank you for your interest in Oral Healthcare   I can confirm that an Oral Care Live webinar session has been scheduled  Tuesday 8th December at 7pm - 9pm [UK]

All that is required is a device (PC, ipad or mobile phone).  and internet connection.

Topic: Essential Oral Care Training webinar

Date:   Tuesday 8th December commencing at 7pm [UK]

Join Zoom Meeting

Meeting ID: 842 9940 3507

For any participant that is having technical issues please telephone 01243 710119

I suggest that people  login approx 5 mins before the training is scheduled to connect and test their audio.

How does it work?

Once a participant has clicked onto the link, the ZOOM conference app will be automatically downloaded onto the device (if it is not already installed).  If you have logged in before the host is ready you will be placed in a 'waiting room'  and welcomed when the host arrives.

The structure of a webinar  is similar to that of  In-House training format; during the webinar you will be able to view the powerpoint presentation and see the presenter.   Interaction is via a poll if multiple devices are used, don't worry, these are  simple yes or no answers which are sent through anonymously and are viewed privately by the host. Ultimately we prefer to communicate directly via audio and will encourage direct interaction by either asking participants to unmute themselves, via chat conversation or keeping all parties unmuted.  This will depend on the session.

Are there recordings?

The webinars are not generally recorded due to the dynamics of live events, if however a participant is experiencing technical problems during the session we advise they telephone us on 01243 710119 to let us know,  a recording will be activated and sent to the individual with a follow up call from us and certificate issued.

What happens after the webinar?

Certificates  (2hrs Accredited verifiable CPD certificates) will be sent electronically

On successful completion of this course participants will be able to:

  • Have a better understanding of how to assist vulnerable adults with basic daily oral hygiene procedures and denture care

  • Have a better understanding of the mouth to include tooth anatomy and dental disease and recognise abnormalities

  • Recognise the need for specialised mouth care and supporting people who require assistance
